OT - Another one joins the OLD guys club.
Just came back from the doctor and she ordered a full blood workout for me plus ECG. Seems I have high blood pressure and high chlosteral and must do something to relief my stress levels.
I AM OLD. (BTW total out of pocket expense to me for everything... $0.00. Obamacare vs Canadian Healthcare system)

Aging
I know the feeling.
However, I don't want to seem like a complaining old grump to my friends and siblings (I'm oldest). And the folk I could complain to - my mother and uncle - would just say "Ha! you think it's bad now? Just wait another ten years..." Uncle Ted |

It hit me when I turned 35 and discovered I could no maintain my weight effortlessly anymore. And now I'm almost old enough to get senior's discounts, and I belong to AARP! Arrgh.

I hear ya. I've been working part-time for a deconstruction company for a month now. As an unskilled laborer, I've been reintroduced to hauling brick and cement chunks to the dumpster, learned to operate a jackhammer, shoveled gravel, and much, much, more! All the stuff I did when I was 20 and just getting started working.
Guess what? Neither I nor my body is 20 anymore, more like twice 23. My upper and lower back have let me know as much.
