1/72 and 20MM

Ok so I get carried away sometimes;
As in trip to hobby store (not the largest in the world and mostly R/C air stuff) but has, err had some1/72 modern armor and a very few troops.
Bought two Bradley M2A2, an LAV C and C, LAV recovery, two M1A1, Two M-60, four trucks various, a RAF refuel set ( conversion material), Range Rover, two jeeps with trailers, M113, modern infantry, some Russian manufactured kits of anti-armor teams and MG (Zvezda) their US kits, some WWII Russian infantry, some Urban fighters WWII, and a bunch of new Paint.
That with my not to small 1/72 or 20mm collection of minis should last me a few days.
Zvezda, Hazegawa, Airfix, Trumpeter and good old Revell.

Built the Brad first and have base paint on it. Then decided I NEED mounted Soviet Block troops and of Course some mounted USA in modern dress.
Out comes the Civil War cav. and the very, very sharp hobby knife a little precise cutting and now we have them ( just what does one do with the top have of a 1862 Yankee and the bottom half of a 2000 Army grunt?) good old Goop holds the needed parts together and paint does wonders.
Well when I figure how to get pics up I will post them.

One little-used resource (I don't think it seems like it has the class), in HO scale, are cars like Matchbox cars and clones. In addition to just ordinary cars for looks, I also have several tanks (including little seen things like a Chieftain and a T-55AM), a few helicopters, several Bradleys, a fleet of HMMWVs, and even something rare I found -- a LAV-25. Some players and GMs may turn their noses up at them, but they are surprisingly accurate is you choose carefully, and they're not as fragile as models. You can also find some interesting things such animals, livestock, digs, civilians, and of course civilian cars.

So don't be afraid to shop the toy aisle or Toys-R-Us! I've even found good stuff at Big Lots or the Goodwill Store.

Laugh thanks pmulcahy11b, My Grand Father retired from the rock Island Railroad.
I have three layouts built ( never finished always building) N scale point to point horse shoe in the Computer room, HO duck under in the two car shop/garage and G scale out door in the back yard. All named Colorado to California lines C to C. I scratch build most of my stuff rolling stockand buildings.
That hobby led to my Pewter casting company when I retired from Law enforcement with PTSD.
For me the size difference is a bit too much but again thank you for the thought and a lot of folks could make good use of the idea.
