Art style
Trying to play with effects in Photoshop to get the look of the original art - thoughts on these?

That is neat. I looked into doing this a while ago when I wanted to use copyrighted images of weapons (converting to pencil and thumb-nailing would probably - not a lawyer - make them a derivative work.). There are quite a few online sites that will convert images to pencil.
But if you are going to do an entire batch it can be easier to script it into photoshop. If you had trouble uploading the sites image processing program went nuts about 45 min ago and forced a reboot. Often it is a one time thing, but if you see more issues let me know. |

Not sure if there still isn't a problem.
I have a decent collection of weapon shots and get occasional access to the British Army's collections if there are any specific ones you need. |

I like all of those. They all look close enough to the original style, but better though. Some of the original T2k artwork was quite good but, IMHO, a lot of it was pretty ugly.

One could do that I supposed and photoshop with the ability to "cut" out a person and paste them into another picture would simplify that a great deal. |

I think "Last Submarine" had a punk picture that was clearly Queen's Freddie Mercury. That's one that's stuck with me for decades.
