New Post in my Solo Campaign - Blake's Raiders
So, I've had major writer's block for a while (big surprise - I have MAJOR admiration for writers who have been able to keep writing, especially in this genre, during this time).
But, I finally got at least part of a day written up. Captain Blake and his raiders are back on the move. It is Friday, 19JUL2030. https://gunnersgouge.blogspot.com/20...stward-ho.html As always, comments, questions, and criticisms are welcome. |

Howdy, Neighbor!
I ran a PbP set in Arkansas in 2030, so we were practically neighbors! In fact, we had one encounter with some Mississippi State Guard that were manning a checkpoint at their side of the bridge at Pendleton, Arkansas. Probably unbeknownst to higher HQ, they had taken it upon themselves to charge a "toll" to anyone attempting to cross the river via the bridge. It was also suspected that they crossed the river in a small boat during a major summer storm and looted some partially flooded houses in Pendleton. A teenaged resident subsequently took a couple of pot shots at the checkpoint with the hunting rifle, increasing tension between the MSG unit and the town. The PCs resolved the diplomatic crisis peacefully.

Cool. I lived in NW Arkansas from 1979-1993, and then in Little Rock from 2004-2013. Been in DC since 2013.
I ran a T2K campaign when I was in (and out) of college in the late- to mid-80s. We never got out of Europe, though, and I hadn't ever been able to get a willing group together since. The bad part is, I had a offer to run a one-shot T2K game at a local game shop at an one-day mini-convention scheduled back in the Spring. It was, of course, cancelled... |
