Default World Wheat and Corn production by country

Happen to be stuck on a older computer (while I optimize my primary one) and was looking at some old bookmarks.

I will be posting them here as both a source to others and a reminder to myself.

http://nue.okstate.edu/Crop_Informat...Production.htm

It also has some breakdowns for statewide wheat production in the US.

US-only data, but quite comprehensive, for a wide variety of crops (apples, cotton, chickpeas, tobacco, rice, etc) and other agricultural info. Some data series go back to the Civil War, and its broken down by county. Very helpful if you want to compare relative yields per acre between 19th and 20th century farming methods, for example. http://www.nass.usda.gov/Data_and_St...s/Quick_Stats/

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...

I think I have seen that data before but never in such an easy to access format (I expected to have to parse out 1000s of PDFs). I may yet be able to calculate total prewar calorie generation by county. Thanks.
