Exclamation Scruffy Weapons

I thought a thread containing pix and discussions on home-made and or scruffy weapons would be an asset to this forum so here goes.

I think I would prefer the 5 barrel shotgun compared to throwing rocks in aduel. - it can pobably be used as club after ammo has been spent

Yeah, assuming it goes bang or doesn't mess you up when it does. Just using those things looks like it may be a duel between sanity and mortality.

Default German prison weapon

If firearms can be made in prison, under the very nose of the state, it leaves no doubt as to how easy it is. Why some people think that outlawing guns will keep them from being made in the outside world is a real mystery to me.

Double barreled Shotgun:
"made from iron bedposts; charge made of pieces of lead from curtain tape and match-heads, to be ignited by AA batteries and a broken light bulb. On May 21, 1984 two inmates of a prison in Celle, Germany, took a jailer as a hostage, showed off their fire power by letting go at a pane of bullet-proof glass (bottom right), and escaped by car."

These photos are apparently of a Palestinian using some sort of homemade grenade launcher. It looks like it could be a 40mm grenade in the barrel, or maybe some type of 40mm less/non-lethal grenade like round, such as tear gas.

It appears to work by striking the firing pin (a drill bit) with a stone. I would not want to be within 200 yards of somebody firing that weapon.

Russian VOG-25 40mm Grenade
Russian VOG-25 is one of their designs that keeps the propellant and essentially the chamber as part of the projectile, not unlike a Gyrojet.

Default Barrow Gang Armory

Old stuff from the 20s&30s but still have the scruffy look to it.

TOP: Model 1887 10 gauge "riot gun"
MIDDLE: Remington Model 11 "sawed-off"
BOTTOM: Bonnie's Remington "Whipit" gun

This sharp looking reproduction of a Barrow Gang "Whipit" was found
on Paco Kelly's Leverguns.com readers forum. Posted by rangerider7.
Model weapon displayed is a 1911 Remington Auto 5, 12 gauge shotgun.

Frank Hamer Jr. with some Barrow Gang recovered weapons

The Winchester Model 1887 10 ga. riot gun, a "rare"
lever-action model.

Default Clyde's supposed "custom made" scattergun

Clyde was said to have cut down the stock just past the buffer tube, shortened the
barrel of the B.A.R. and welded together three 20 round magazines to make it a 57 round
capacity. (causing the loss of three rounds, due to the weld marks between the magazines).

However, the theory of welding together three magazines would have not only placed the
magazines at an ackward angle, but the internal springs would no longer have the ability
to properly feed the rounds into the gun's chamber. Nevertheless, this weapon, with
the barrel shortened was a deadly combination. Image below shows a replica image
that I had created on the computer, showing how the scattergun would have looked
had it been possible.
