RCAF,

I would probably go for the 4-Runner for maintenance and utility value. One thing that always made me shake my head was how the Humvee was faster than a civilian 3/4-ton truck on the road. Not just the same, but faster. I guess the rationale is that the roads are not perfect and over a 4-hour stretch there will be a certain amount of "off-roading" around detours and obstacles, through shellholes and potholes so the Humvee's greater rough-road mobility tells in the long run, but still.

As tempting as the Weiner Mobile (with a mounted AGL, of course) would be, I'd go for the Ranger. More of a gas guzzler than the others, but also able to haul more cargo/people around. And if push comes to shove, you can always turn it into a technical.

I'd also consider the Civic. It's small, but super-common, and often modified. Lots of people would have the skills to keep one going for a long time. And what I really mean by super-common is that it's easily replacable.

LOL The Weiner Mobile is WAY COOLER!...and you can mount a MaDeuce over the passenger seat and a pair of Miniguns back in the cooking area!!!!

That reminds me, one of the PCs in my game drives a red '69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator:
