New spamming technique.

This was a new one and was pretty tricky.

Human assisted spammer. (To get past registration)

Takes one or two paragraphs from previous posts and stitches them together to look like an on topic post at first glance.

has a spam link in their signature.


I caught this one because if was a female registrant (always attracts attention here) and they posted one of their three spam posts in German (I think).

Keep an eye out for this and let a moderator know if you see this pattern.

I am on the Star Wars Design Alliance, and the same bot has hit us there as well, so it looks like it is hitting all over the shop here.

This type of bot hit us again.


Keep an eye out if and let us know if you see this type of spam. They usually hit more than one forum which for a new user is really odd.

We got hit by that kind of bot a lot when I was on the ShatteredWorld site - and it was a persistent event
