Default O/T Puerto Rico USN base for sale

Got a spare $30-40 million burning a hole in your pocket?
How about buying a navy base?

The island of Vieques has since become a popular tourist destination, but the towns on the Puerto Rican mainland near the former base were economically devastated by the closure.

Ain't that tha truth!
Yeah I understand that some nations do not want foreign troops on their home soil but some of those same countries greatly benefited from US bases.

Yeah, when Mt. Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines and left the shiny new fleet of Vought/Chance F8 Crusaders the Philippino gov't had just bought from the US prior to ordering us off the island (I know, I know it was a mutual thing ) under a ton of ash and unrecoverable, suddenly us leaving didn't seem like such a great idea.

Hell the last I heard the Vietnamese were trying to court the USN back to Cahm Ran bay...!
