Exclamation Medicinal Plants

I'd guess after all the Medical-firms have stopped their production, other sources for ailments are in order, this could be a seperate skill or someone who just have a printout/book/etc of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...d_in_herbalism

I think that in the aftermath of TDM, you would see a lot of herbal remedies being dusted off. Many surviving older people, American Natives, African American, Asian American, etc. all have memories or even active use of herbal cures for various ailments. The local ancient hippie that has a small herb garden suddenly becomes a honorable member of the community for his knowledge of herbs, how to grow them and how to use them.

Related, but slightly off topic, silver is used to make an antibiotic, as is sugar, and sugar/iodine mix.

My mum is a botanist. For professional purposes she specialises in salt-resistant Australian desert flora but she has a strong personal interest in the medicinal properties of plants. If the SHTF I'd be heading to her place as quickly as possible.
