Does size matter?
Ok I know...NOT the topic you thought.
So I was re-reading the US Recovery Plans from the DC Group, DO NOT discuss canon or not here pls. One thing that caught my eye was the one brigade of 4000 men per county in Texas. Now for some counties I get that but that seems like overkill no? Perhaps the intention was just to make it easier to organize and coordinate? I would think a strong battalion could secure and restore some order to most counties without hostiles...Victoria for example. Now I am not talking restore to pre war conditions or anything, just safe from marauders / Mexicans / Soviets. Just a thought...feedback?

I like the idea of reorganizing down to self sufficient brigades thats for sure, I was almost thinking strong battalions would be better. Something with more organic support units...
Obviously to clear out the russians for example you need that a brigade size unit...but the 300 Mexicans in beeville, not so much. Maybe use the brigades to sweep the county and then smaller more focused units to provide support/protections locally once the brigade moves out?

If she loves you then the size of your Brigade doesn't matter...

it's not the size that counts, it's how you use it.
