That's not unusual to find around here (living in Virginia Beach, Virginia now. Navy and ex-military all over the place). If you head a little further south into the Carolinas, you'll run into some more of the military collectors along with the doomsday preppers.

What I found in a WalMart parking lot was some damn lady who was hung over in her 50's, looked like a scrawny heroin addict, tried to come on to me offering sex for money, and showed me a medical tube sticking out of her stomach.

That's in addition to the usual drug addicts, con-men and riff raff I've encountered at Wal Marts. I've been a bit reluctant to go to them since.

Things got so bad at one of the local Wal-Mart's they chose to close from 12:00 am until 6:00 am. The rampant shoplifting, pandering, solicitation, and other exciting events caused this decision. Other Wal-Mart's in my area are still 24/7, but I would guess that it is only a matter of time until they change their hours.

My $0.02

Mike

Reminds me of something I saw in Colorado a few years back when I passed through.

I don't recall, I was too busy trying to get a respectable distance away from she/it.

You can usually find some crazy RVs or campers in Walmart parking lots. It's company policy to allow overnight parking lot camping.
