OT: Is enough too much?
The chaos and confusion that has been my life since I lost my wife has made me think long and hard about some things.
I was cleaning out a freezer that, to be honest, I had forgotten about. There was stuff in there well over two to three years old or more. After this chore was done, I did a quick review of my "stash". Right now I could live on the stash for three months. That includes water, food, and other needs of life. I probably could stretch this to 5-6 months with rationing. I started to think. Why? Why do I have so much when I have no one to help with this? When the Mrs. was with me, my driving thought was to protect her and keep her alive if SHTF. Now it is just me and the cat. As I have written before, my view of the neighbors is they are good people, but they are grasshoppers. I do not have a CLUE how to approach them on survival. I do NOT want to be know as "that crazy guy who lives over there". Has any one else had these thoughts? What have you decided? My $0.02 Mike |

My condolences to you, I lost my mother last week to cancer and I'm going through the same thing. I'd like to say, you're not alone. PM me if you'd like, I'll check back more often.
