Give me your best ideas for non Project weapons, tools, equipment.
So what would be the equipment given to operatives of the Project or Council of Tomorrow to use in a post nuclear exchange that did not trace back to the Project.
Government issue? Corporate security? Private Military Contractor? Foreign government agency? I would say the Street Sweeper, the Striker 12 revolver shotgun. Any magnum or less 12 guage ammunition. Aviators dual tube passive night vision. commercial confined spaces hazard sensor (used by work crews in sewers and tunnels) to investigate structures and not get killed by poison gases or low O2 levels. Ready, set, Go! Last edited by ArmySGT.; 04-28-2016 at 10:22 AM. |

Are we assuming any logistical restrictions for this? It would be simple to assume some AKMs and AK-74s to implicate Russia or Vietnam if adding additional calibers of ammunition is not an issue.

No restrictions. Equipment for someone like a Frozen Watch that has no markings or pattern to it that would mark the owner as TMP personnel.

Have you seen the reviews on the Street Sweeper?
Forgotten Weapons Review Personally I would go with something that is extremely common to the point where anyone could use it. |

For my game I included one "E-SERE" cache per team near the bolthole. It contained mainly non-Project issue survival gear and could be covertly accessed by a team who's bolthole was breached, personnel on the run, etc. Personnel could get geared up but not stand out too much. The era is "classic" TMP, that is, the 1987 update is the general cutoff.
Weapons included an M14, 2x M1 Carbines, a Ruger Mini-14, a Remington 870 shotgun, an HK91 rifle with optics, Colt M1911, Colt M1908 "vest pocket" pistol, FN FAL, Glock-17, Ruger Single-Six revolver, Colt Detective Special. These weapons are serviceable and common, although with about half Project ammo commonality. Tony |

In the equipment category, something along the lines of the Chamberlain CWA2000 PIR motion detector might be good. Granted it can only support 4 sensors and each sensor only sees out about 6m, but placing them on trails about 500m away may give you enough advanced warning of an attack or someone entering your kill box.

That's six long guns and five handguns..... How big was the Team? Any non standard equipment like an EMT bag or geiger counter? Non standard body armor or clothing? |
