Yep. Lots of naval guns were re-purposed as shore batteries.

The aft main gun turrets from USS ARIZONA (BB-39) were removed and reinstalled in two shore batteries - one on the west coast of Oahu and one at Kaneohe Bay.

Heck, I could see Civil War-era forts and guns being pressed back into service...

That's pretty interesting!
Imagine having something like this towed behind the Wisla Krolowa to take care of river pirates.
Or worse, imagine going around a river bend in the Wisla Krolowa and seeing one of these in the middle of the waterway. "Hand over half your valuables. It's the river toll, everyone gets taxed. If you don't want to be taxed, you can always be sunk!"
