Rol20 Online Campaign - Pirates of the Vistula - T2k v2.2 and Cyberpunk 2020
I'd like to invite one or two new players to take up the position of a player who's had to drop out.
The game is a reimagining of the Twilight 2000 scenario "Pirates of the Vistula". Some parts will be very different to the published scenario. It is a similar but different game where the emphasis is not shooting hordes of faceless commies but rather undertaking a trek down Poland's largest river in a post apocalyptic world, dealing with different groups in more ways than just combat and solving problems. However there'll be a bunch of fighting as well.. Characters can be troops from either NATO, Warsaw Pact (except Polish) or nearby Neutral powers. This is an Ordinary People in Extraordinary Situations game. As such the characters are civilians who have been swept up in a horrific war, have learned to survive and adapt as the war ground down and are not pre-war regular soldiers or elite troops. However their experiences have made them as skilled as a prewar commando and their pre-war lives have given them rich skills to utilise the wreckage to create new from old. The old allegiances have been swept away in a nuclear fire and the characters have banded together simply to survive. The system being used is a composite of Cyberpunk 2020 and Twilight 2000 version 2.2 and is easy to learn. I'll be doing most of the working out of the characters for you. We're playing on roll20 and Discord and have a Facebook page for files and discussion. Game time is Saturday 2000 to 2200(+) GMT fortnightly. So far we've had a few three hour games and we've hardly got into the campaign. Players must be reliable. Summary: - World War Three Gaming, "The Pirates of the Vistula". - Saturday 2000 to 2200(+) GMT fortnightly - Twilight 2000 v2.2 and Cyberpunk 2020 - Roll20, Discord and Facebook - Reliable players only please. |
