I have used the Modern D20 rules for a bit and have played with a few different systems...would be interested in seeing what you have done for d20.

I agree with a lot of what you posted on your site, especially the armor part!

Default Google Docs on D20

If players give me google Account Names, I can add them to google Docs for some of the D20 MP sections. Being in Google Docs everyone can add there own bits to the rules.

The Number One rule is, do not take copy from the Main Rule Book (TMP) when possible. We are making a support to TMP D20 and do not want to get into any problems with the owners of TMP.

All of us love TMP, I just tired of the System its built on.

Default D20 MP - Character Generation (Just a Clip)

This is just the start of a D20 MP character part. All the support material is still being worked on.

Character Generation:

STARTING A MORROW PROJECT CHARACTER

The Morrow Project in D20 is a bit different than normal games. The players are supposed to be we trained and experienced before they are recruited to the project. To represent this, the players will have 3 levels of experience before they are recruited to the Morrow Project. These classes can be from almost any D20 Modern Game with SpyCraft 2.0 and D20 Blood and Guts System great places to look.

Level 4 will always be a prestige Class called General Morrow Project Training. This will give characters of all Morrow Project Branches a Basic training in morrow team weapons and reconstruction technology.

Level 5 will be in the players Prestige Class for their division in the Morrow Project such as MARS, RECON, SCIENCE, and SUPPORT.

In Modern D20 an average professional is LV3 in there field (example a police officer, paramedic, or scientist with at least 8 years of experience).

Thus all Morrow Project personal will start the game at 5th Level. This might seem a bit powerful, but the teams are supposed to be above average in training and knowledge. Added to this, they are usually operating on their own in very hostile situations, they will need every edge they can get in order to fulfill the mission of the project to rebuild North America.

Players unfamiliar with the d20 system may find the character generation process confusing. While creating a Morrow Project character, the player will decide up front what all five of the starting levels will be. It is important to keep in mind that the skill points, stat points, feats, etc should be spent for each level based upon the character's class skills, stats and feats at the time.

The progression of character creation is to pick:
Ability Scores (from part 1) [Note: CON bonuses do not apply to hit points. Hit points increase by only 1 or 2 per level.]

Talent (from part 1)

Occupation (from part 1).

Level 1 Basic class (from part 2 or from SpyCraft)

Level 1 2 Bonus Feats

Level 2 Basic class

Level 3 Basic class

Level 3 Bonus Feat*

Level 3 Bonus Proficiency*

Level 4 Morrow Project Basic Training (from part 2.1)

Level 4 Attribute Score Increase (+1 to a single attribute)*

Level 5 Morrow Project Specialization Training (from part 2.1)

Level 5 Bonus Proficiency*

Again, the player should be sure to choose level 1 feats and spend level 1 skill points based upon class skills and cross-class skills available at level 1 before moving on to level 2.

* Table 1.3 in SpyCraft identifies all level-dependent benefits.
