Back in the Huntville TX area.. If I look around I see prison after prison.. count at least TWELVE within 15 mile radius.. Huntville.. Prison Capitol of Texas Republic and probably the world if you were to guess at number of facilites.. There are FIVE in the city limits.. don't let the population number on the city limits sign fool you like the did Home Depot.. ca 15-20 THOUSAND of that is inmates. (of course another 20K is Correction Officers or employed by TDCJ and another 10K are students at Sam Houston State

Anchorage, Alaska gateway to the real Alaska. When I look out my windows I either see snow capped mountains, the trailer park across the street, or the fenceline for the state nut house.

Hi all!
Just found this site, and a thought occurred to me:
So many people playing a game which takes place exactly where I live
For those that didn't get it: Sov 127th CD is based here in the Twilight War.

Welcome to the forum SirBlase.
It will be interesting to hear your views of the game because you're someone who actually lives in the area of Poland where the game takes place.

And did you rent the house next to Sarah Palin?

(To be fair -- and I can't believe I'm agreeing with Palin on anything -- I do in fact think that author leased that house to spy on Palin, and that it was dirty pool.)

I'm currently living about an Hour's commute from Concord and I'm going to be in the area for the next two months. It also seems like I'm in need of a new face to face group for that time as My buttons have been pushed by someone in my current group.

Geowar,

Welcome, great to have you! I'm in Vancouver BC, which I think is in my profile. Of the people lumped into North America, I wonder how many people are in the USA or Canada (or even Mexico, and the French/Danish territories)?

Tony

I think you're our first Greek poster! Must be nice living in a country with so much history in it! I'm jealous, being a history major!

On the other hand Greece is facing economic difficulties even greater than the US isn't it?
Mind you, every time I turn on the TV it seems some country or other is in trouble.

Damn, only 60 miles inland from you. McMinnville.

However, I grew up in Normal, IL, and knew 4 of the T2k playtesters. All were frequent visitors to Adventureland Hobby store in Bloomington, IL. I was one of the first to buy this game when it first came out.

I've been to Adventureland Hobby Store, in January of 1991; I bought some cool stuff, including a lead HO-scale HMMWV, the only HMMWV figure I'd seen up to that time and for many years afterward.

Halfway between Ft. Wayne IN and Toledo OH. So far out in the backwoods I hear banjos and Hicksville is 15 miles away.

Seriously, there really is a town named hicksville down the road from Defiance.

Hehe, we've got two villages in this part of the world just a few miles apart - "Paradise" and "Nowhere Else".

I'm in Farnborough, Hampshire, England, although originally from Scotland. Less than a mile from me is Laffan's Plain, which was where SF Cody carried out the first powered flights in Britain- and where the Farnborough Air Show is still held.
However, out my window I can see my Ducati!

Nice. I prefer four cylinder bikes myself but Ducatis are beautiful machines.

I just discovered that at least one spammer program actually votes in polls to cover their tracks. I had to delete our only "South American" user. The "African" user looks legit though.
