Default LBraden's MP and other stuff

I have recently found out about "The Morrow Project" and have been drawing up some random things that I found via googling.

http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y15...%20M20/Morrow/
I did ask Mr Oulton for permission to draw up his boltholes with a bit of a cleaner view, also sorry for the smaller views, but I work off the http://www.swdesignalliance.com/forum/index.php (to view the minimal gallery, just remove /forums/index.php) M20 scale (20 pixels per meter) at the moment, I may push up to the more acceptable M40 scale once I get more than spurts of creativity.

http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y15...n/Other%20M20/
I have also been working on other M20 scale items for usage where-ever, the vehicles here, and there are also M20 scale 20 and 40 foot containers, thanks to Myka dragon blue, and the 463L pallets done by me.

A bit off topic, I do have a lot on my photobucket, and I will be updating it, one thing I am thinking off doing, is helping on that KFS air tower internals, and as for any other ideas, and other vehicles, give me a few ideas, I will be doing up V150 and V300's in the not too far future.

Great! Welcome! Please keep us updated on your work and I'd be very interested in seeing what you can do with the KFS tower.

I was hoping to keep this thread as a "finished products" but I decided against it, here are two WiP's, the Landmaster gives you a good idea how I work with existing images.
I give thanks to Mr Oulton for having made up the Landmaster schematics

Also on hold till I get the "yea or neigh" from the CA-4 lot

Now, I was thinking for "modular bases" aside from using 20 and 40 foot containers, this idea was for a Star Wars idea, but could be re-hashed to be lower tech, and slightly better height (oh, and its a poke to view my whole photobucket)

Image deleted, read 2 posts down for final version.

I have completed some of it, the situation I have with that internal is that the back bunks would be fouling the systems for those back mounted "autocannons" that I believe a form of M242 Bushmaster 25mm like we see on the M2 Bradley

Also, as for the hygiene facilities, I have no idea what to do it as, so I have a couple of ideas on there while I think about it.

also, what do people think of this as a possible "other version" of a vehicle for TMP, its the cut "Orca Lift Truck" from CnC Renegade.

Default A great Idea

Lee,

This truck is a game master's answer to many questions. Just how was Morrow going to move ram material "A" to production site "B"?

THis truck seems to be the answer. Make sure it has the Morrow fusion engine. Add some modular cargo containers as is in use everywhere today, and you can transport anything you want.

I am calling that finished until such time as I can access movie screenshots, or the movie itself.

Also, if any of you want these vehicles in other colours, like Bright Orange, that can be easily done, and as for the OLT, what is wrong with using a standard US "18 wheeler" for the movement of large stuff after the fall from A to B?

EDIT: I have updated the back end of it to remove those turrets till I can figure out a better style as I hated them, also added the door at the front.

Also, if I was to do it, I would change the missile system into a turret, possibly a direct copy of the M2 Bradley turret with TOW launcher, and I would drop that front access door, it seems too small and useless for an entry system.

I have done up the first "official" bolthole, and there are LOTS of stuff I want to change on it

Oh, and if anyone has a set of views of the V-150, Willys MB, Deuce and a Half Truck and some decent Hovercraft's (for Morrow) please PM me the image links.

I have redesigned my Bastion idea, looks a LOT better in my eyes, I will be heading off to make up some more vehicles soon, but yeah, got a problem with some scaling, but I will work on them, including a few variants, and also some of the "extra" gear listed in the project booklets.

Updated a little more, currently working on a few things, and did one idea for the ladders, but currently that too does need some extra work.

I like these, is it possible to get the graphics in a bigger resolution?

They are kind of small.

I am doing them all to the M20 scale, its very helpful in effect to fit a lot on a page, however, owed to the scale, you can easily "upscale" it for printing and such, which is why I do it as "clear" images not fuzzy, so it can easily be resized in MS Paint to 200%, which is a better viewing scale.

www.swdesignalliance.com is where I get the scale and parts from, the forums are more active.

I decided it was easier to make this up than try to look at two pages at once, of course I have had to do MINOR edits to it, but I kept as close as I could to the original source

Oh and guys, its about 90% true size on a 1280 x 1024 19 inch monitor, working off a few of the buttons and my fat fingers, I may update it using a "5 pixels per centimetre" scale (that works out to about 15 pixels per inch)

Wow. I'm impressed

The generic watchtower is great. Hopefully, I'll be able to use it in a scenario

I have made this up to the same scale as the Autonav.

Its a rough idea of a "original source material" one based off most cards, the problem I have is that I cannot access anything that shows the original, so I made up this as close to a generic ID card as possible, even to the magnetic strip that goes into machines, etc.

Signature panel is on the front, and I also included a series of little edits to fit into the black circle to show what part of Morrow Industries the person is involved in, and I have to say, I do like Mr Gore's ideas for the Castle as the Engineer logo instead of my current Pickaxe and jack hammer, but this is not entirely finished yet (few cleanups, and a full ID mock up required first)

Also, if you scroll up a little, I updated the Autonav, put on the CORRECT scale, and edited the card slot a little, hence it being 1.1 now.

If you go this page and scroll to the bottom, you will find examples of the ID Cards.

Thanks for that mate, I will get round to editing the "Original" Autonav and the card soon, then I will press on with my variant

However, in the mean time, a sneak peek at something I am making

And, a silly idea I had last night.

Nope, that is my 35mm with coax 7.62mm turret that you find on the Commando Scout, literally, its a straight swap, I was tempted to draw up a Bradley turret, but decided against it and just swapped it over.

Note, that image does get updated when I finish a small vehicle.

I have updated the Autonav ( http://forum.juhlin.com/showpost.php...0&postcount=15 ) by changing the card slot a little, I also finished a to scale version of the card, most of the writing is illegible, but I will be doing a CM40 scale (double the size), if peeps think the colouring is alright.

Also, my long term secret project is not far from being finished Gentlemen...

http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y15...%20M20/Morrow/

Just done a massive update there, after finding out my XR-311 was about 1 meter wider and longer than the actual vehicle, I have also added a few more Owen E Oulton boltholes, and a couple of edits of my own there.

I have been busy lately, and just spent a few quid I did not have because of my PC going tits up on me, so if anyone wants to place some "what about this..." ideas in my PM box, I need something to do for the next two weeks, as I have no spare money,

Also, anyone know what happened to - http://morrow-industries.com/morrow-project-blog/ - as I have seen Matt active recently on the boards.

I was slightly bored and started up on this, I will note this -- it is larger than the official text says, but I have squeezed everything in, hope you lot like this so far (working on side view later, need a cup of tea), plus I will try to make the "medical beds" look a little bit more advanced than a bunk

Also, I updated all of the boltholes recently, included side views

LBraden,

Fantastic job! Really well-done.

1) Hey, you can never go wrong with the classic Landmaster! Perfect for the well-armed Snake-eater.

2) I'd be really happy to see more classic MP vehicles and equipment!

3) You mention getting in touch with "CA-4". I believe that's a reference to a game that I'm in, are you wanting to talk to Clive?

4) For my own MPCanada game I use a couple non-US vehicles I'd like to see. The Canadian branch uses the Mercedes Unimog as it's primary platform (it's really the swiss-army-knife of transports/heavy equipment) for Specialty and Science. As well, MARS is issued with Piranha I 4x4s armed with either a 20mm autocannon or MAG-58 "gun pod" in a remote weapon station/turret. (Recce uses Land Rovers, which are already nicely covered.)

I was going for the Unimog, but I wanted the older blockier Unimog, but I can only find the newer "civvy" styled one, hence why I have not done it

I will look for the Piranha's for you for that, and oh yeah, I kinda did a lot of Land Rovers (some not exactly correct variants, but heh) as I know a LOT about them, I will be, when my skills get better, attempting the Centaur half-track Land Rover.

I will be working on the classics, but I have had problems with scaling the V-150s drawings with the sizes I found, alas it happens, but I will attempt the closest match after doing the SCI-One, I will then also attempt MARS-One, which too is a smite bigger than the "official" sizes.

But thanks anyway mate, I got a lot of half-completed stuff, including, believe it or not this nice little puppy

LBraden,

Nice drawing!

So what do you require to do this? A line drawing of some kind? I run across the odd ones of Unimogs on the net, I could post them here or PM you?

yeah, I tend to resize and trace over them, makes it easier when you have a few fiddly parts, also makes sure you do not put the headlights in the wrong place.
