Default Mutants?

Not exactly a poll

Does anyone here use Mutants in their MP games? Maggots, Buffs, Giant Mosquitoes, that sort of thing

If so, which is your preferred mutant?

In my games, I have played against or gm'd very few mutants. IMHO, 150 years is not enough to have an explosion of mutants. Yes I know that man helped seed the genetic tree with a HUGE dose of radiation...but as it says in TM 1-1, most mutations are either fatal or sterile.

The most have been small mutations. The idea of mosquitoes just a little bit bigger, the rats just a little bit more vicious, things like that. Just gaining the trust of the locals will take a good team a LONG time and a lot of effort. Helping said locals will take longer, especially with the idea of no C3I from Prime Base. Your team is on its' own.
