Characters in my head
Hey everyone
I thought I would make a post sorry that I tend to come and go on this forum and then post in a flurry then dissapear again for months. I am going to try to become more of a regular around here because its just too good for my imagination and I need that. So here goes I have been having wierd dreams that are T2k Related and I have been seeing different made up people in them. A few of the people in the dreams I sort of "recognize" and the others seem hazy and un-real. Anyway I feel that I have a good idea of a Female character and I plan on creating a group of others characters in her unit. Also I am going to use Nate Hale character outline to help flesh out the character. Fuck being a hero. Do you know what you get for being a hero? Nothing! You get shot at. You get a little pat on the back, blah blah blah, attaboy! You get divorced... Your wife can't remember your last name, your kids don't want to talk to you... You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy. I do this because there is nobody else to do it right now. Believe me if there was somebody else to do it, I would let them do it. There's not, so I'm doing it. |

THANKS NATE!
This is some seriously comprhensive character generation information! I cut and pasted it directly back into the original thread I think i'll use it like a work sheet when I have time I don't know if anyone will care but I think it will be useful to me. She will probably just end up being an NPC for a game that never gets played. BIA |

Sure when you first start playing you've got a quick snapshot of a character.. but as time goes on, you get all that detail. And a worksheet like this allows you to put alot of thought into it. Hell, i have an NPC who has a major phobia of butterflies... and another who's phobia is Clowns. My signature charater has claustraphobia (the fear of being buried alive) as their major phobia, that came from their childhood of getting trapped in a storm drain.

Remember, you don't have to fill it all out. it's just something to use as a guide to come up with a fully fleshed out character. most of the time, i don't use all that when i'm making my characters or NPCs.
