Default OT- mixing up Middle East nations

This was inspired by the "tank transfer to RDF" thread...

For some reason I always mix up Jordan and Saudi
Jordan is much, much more liberal... women driving cars, working for a living, etc... not to mention dressing as they please. My (admittedly unscientific) measure of how liberal a Middle Eastern country is, is to count how many of the women around town are wearing the full blackout curtain gear. By this measure, Jordan is considerably more liberal than High Wycombe!
For the non-UK residents: High Wycombe is the town to the NW of London where the attempted liquid bombers came from.

My experience of High Wycombe is less Islamic fundies and more damned Mormons trying to grab your soul as you walk down the street.

But I meant I mix up their equipment. One buys British the other buys American.
