Default OT - Time for the Olympics

Guess the world is focus on London for the next little while. Love learning about all the security setups.

Just please bear a thought for the 17,000 service personnel drafted in because private firms couldn't provide enough trained staff...

Did those who watched the opening ceremony think that the initial layout looked like Hobbiton? :-)

Just imagine running into a former Olympic pistol or archery team member in the game.

"Oh dont worry about him, all he has is a pistol (or bow). Hmm never seen a pistol (or bow) like that. Wonder where he got ....." as you see your buddy get drilled right thru the eyes by an arrow or pistol shot from a very long distance with the shooter having a competition pistol or compound bow.

The Special Forces character in my group was like that - the gentleman who played him in real life was dead accurate with a bow (as in shoot ten shots and get all of them either bullseye or in the 8 or 9 ring and maybe every so often hit a 6 and get really pissed about it) so the GM let him also be that way in the game. He used to specialize in taking down sentries and lookouts.
