Speed issues.
There may be some speed issues as I am having problems with either my DSL connection or my router.
This has literally been the worst month for me hardware and security wise (both at home and at work), but while I have not resolved many issues on this site they are still in my queue. If I have to replace hardware we might have some outages over the next few days. |

Ok router is dying. Currently it seems to only have the major issues when wifi is active so we can limp along, but I will be getting a replacement soon.
Speed should be better for the most part. |

Maybe one of those Amazon Wish list set ups........ Some members could gift you singly or collectively a router or other equipment.

Time is my real killer now. I have a client trying to launch in the next two weeks, another client that had its commerce site hacked due to plugin having a security hole.
Add to that issues on both my webservers (mostly the php upgrade breaking attachments.) Then this weekend I had (or more correctly noticed) the following on my home computers. * A powersupply with a blown Fan * A cpu fan that is running at half speed (not enough to trigger an alert but my cpu was hitting 80C) * A failed USB drive * Router failure when using wifi. In isolation all of these would be easy but all in a 3-4 week period when I can't take things down due to client needs (like keeping Testing environment and my main computer running) has just been very vexing. |
