Default Semi-OT and very important!

I am currently unable to send or receive email, and haven't been for about 3 weeks. Spectrum promises resolution in 24-72 hours, but since they bought TWC customer service has gone to hell in a handbasket, So who knows how long they will really take. They get one more chance out of me -- then i call the natonal number at their HQ, and hopefully let s**t roll downhill. It's worked in the past.

If you have important info for me, PM me for now.

Is it just me, or has customer service across the board deteriorated in the last decade or two?

Customer Service.
Customer Service?
Customer...
Service...

Thinking, thinking...

OH! I remember that!
Back in the past when a business believed it had a relationship with the customer that could be mutually beneficial to all parties.

Too many short-sighted, damned accountants running businesses these days. They see that customer service costs money to run and does not appear to raise any revenue. Certainly might appear that way in the short term but good customer service equals long term, customer repeat business... oh I forgot, today's companies are only interested in quick profit and the customer is just a walking wallet.

Can you tell I'm not happy with current customer service?

Eh? Oh, I don't have the energy for that sort of thing anymore...
And my memories fading so I can't remember if I have the energy for ranting anymore.
And I can't remember where my walking stick is, perhaps those damned kids on my lawn know where it is...

But anyway, back to the original purpose of this thread, Paul, I hope your service provider gets your email fixed up soon, like "yesterday" soon.
