Default Played First T2K Game in DECADES

So, I played a T2K (V4) game at the Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo (PAGE 2).

It's the first time I've played T2K in person since the 1990s, when I was a (lousy) referee.

I had a GREAT time as a player.

The referee was AMAZING and the other players were great. I was probably the weak link in the chain...

Our group escaped the Kalisz debacle in a Humvee with an MG.

After a couple of days on the run, we picked up three Polish refugee kids. We first tried to hand them over to a nearby relative. After a short firefight with some Russian who were FAR to eager for us to turn over the teenaged girls, we turned south.

We bribed our way across a Russian-controlled bridge (Marlboro's are a GREAT currency!) and found a relatively stable town. Unfortunately, the local church was clearly overwhelmed with refugees, so after a short stay, we moved on, with the kids still in tow...

A couple of days later, we ran into a large group of Russian marauders. They shot up the Humvee's engine, but we killed their LT and put two of their troopers down, so they surrendered.

Our medic patched up their two wounded troupers, so they let us walk away.

At that point, our time was up, so we called it a "Good Game", shook hands, and went home.

The referee clearly had a couple of objectives, which made the game interesting.

Dang. I'm local and wasn't able to attend this event - it sounds like PAGE 2 was a blast.

Wow. great to hear you had a face to face game.

And that AAR reads like so much fun! All of that action could've taken place over 12 months and I wouldn't be surprised, but you got all that done inside a single session, fantastic experience!!!

Sounds fun. I've never experienced T2k FtF.

Did any of the other players have previous experience with any iteration of T2k?
