Mechanized Cavalry Regiments had one armored car and two wheeled APC companies. Motorized Cavalry Regiments had one composite company with a mix of armored cars and wheeled APCs and two companies that were in trucks, jeeps and other unarmored light vehicles. Artillery batteries have four guns. Infantry Regiments are battalions; regiments numbered over 100 were formed in 1997 from recalled reservists and hosted by the regiment numbered 100 less (i.e. the 174th Regiment was formed with assistance from the 74th Regiment).
