Default Killer Lines

What's the best killer line you've heard in games, TV, books, or movies, that would apply to T2K?

One I recently heard was on Criminal Minds, when Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), looks at the guy, with an ice-cold look on her face and a voice sounding like she means it, says "Come near my team and I will end you." Not kill you, not hurt you, not arrest you, but "end you." I could see a PC saying that to some enemy troops leader.

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: This landing is gonna get pretty interesting.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Define "interesting".
Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: [deadpan] Oh God, oh God, we're all going to die?

"I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure." Warrant Officer Ellen Ripley, Aliens.

I also nominate the line in my sig. For posterity, for when I eventually change my sig, that quote is:

"Be advised. I'm mean, nasty and tired. I eat concertina wire and piss napalm and I can put a round in a flea's ass at 200 meters. So why don't you go hump somebody else's leg, mutt face, before I push yours in." Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Highway, Heartbreak Ridge.

This one's from Pale Rider (since anything related to Clint wasn't on this list enough...)

"It was him. Him and his men. They shot him. Forever. The bullets kept hitting him. Forever."

Mitch Henessey: [singing] Putting the keys in my left pocket. Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm. Gun in the right-hand side.
Samantha Caine: It makes a bulge, people can see.
Mitch Henessey: Ya want me to stick it in my pants and shoot my damn dick off?
Samantha Caine: Now you're a sharpshooter?

- The Long Kiss Goodnight

Not a very realistic nor good movie, truth be told, but that line keeps cracking me up.

Lots of great lines in Ridley Scott's first film, The Duellists.
Quote:
Gabriel Feraud: I knew a man who was stabbed to death by a woman; gave him the surprise of his life.
Laura: I once knew a woman who was beaten to death by a man. I don't think it surprised *her* at all.

A tad off topic but this was always my all time, fave B5 line:

"Only one human captain has ever survived battle with a Minbari Fleet. He is behind me. You are in front of me. If you value your lives…be somewhere else!"

How about some Aliens?

Frost: Man, I'm telling you, I got a bad feeling about this drop.
Crowe: You always say that, Frost. You always say, "I got a bad feeling about this drop."
Frost: Okay, okay. When we get back without you, I'll call your folks.

Almost all of the Marines' lines from Aliens were quote-worthy.

If I was running a game and someone said that. I'd HAVE TO make a roll to see if the person being spoken to had bubblegum.
Sure, in the T2K world, the odds of having gum would be slim, but the 01 (on percentile dice) DOES come up from time to time.

Lt. Col. Tyrus Cassius "TC" McQueen: The dim glow falling upon the dried blood of Union brothers in the Manassas eve still guides our path. Constellations, hidden by fierce Pacific storms in the Bataan sky remain obscured by rain. The stars - a billion for every life laid down in Vietnam - still shine on us and will guide those who follow.

Lt. Cooper Hawkes: What dead guy wrote that?

Lt. Col. Tyrus Cassius "TC" McQueen: I wrote it.

Some gems from my fave war movie, a bridge too far

Maj. General Stanislaw Sosabowski: Doesn't matter what it was. When one man says to another, "I know what let's do today, let's play the war game."... everybody dies.

Corporal Hancock: Sir.
Major General Urquhart: Hancock. I've got lunatics laughing at me from the woods. My original plan has been scuppered now that the jeeps haven't arrived. My communications are completely broken down. Do you really believe any of that can be helped by a cup of tea?
Corporal Hancock: Couldn't hurt, sir.

Field Marshal Model: What can you see?
General Ludwig: Nothing. But they're going to try a river assault.
Field Marshal Model: It will fail.
General Ludwig: Of course. But what do we do if it doesn't?

John Frost: I'm awfully sorry, but I'm afraid we're going to have to occupy your house.

Lt. Colonel J.O.E. Vandeleur: Have you ever been liberated?
Col. Robert Stout: I was divorced twice. Does that count?
Lt. Colonel J.O.E. Vandeleur: Yes.

As soon as I saw "TC" McQueen, I figured that's what you were taking about. I liked that show, even though it had a lot of glaring flaws. Too bad it didn't last. Fox is pretty good for cancelling shows that are interesting (Space, Connor Chronicles) and keeping stupid crap on (Dollhouse).

Well, I liked Dollhouse -- but I agree TV in general is good at cancelling good shows if they don't catch on right away. Would you believe that All in the Family didn't get good ratings until halfway through it's second season? Now it's an American classic, and Archie's chair is in the Smithsonian. Nowdays? It probably would have been cancelled before its fourth show.

Another line from that classic of modern film, Aliens:

Apone: All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the Corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the Corps!

and...

Hudson: Come on! Come on! Come and get it, baby! Come on! I don't got all day! Come on! Come on! Come on you bastard! Come on, you too! Oh, you want some of this? Fuck you!

The way political correctness has run amok, All In the Family wouldn't have even made it past the pilot.

Yeah; they lifted a lot of classic action movie lines for ol' Duke to say.
