Nope, my gold fish was taken by a black cat a few weeks ago.

I have two questions.
How do you find out that a 16 foot (4.8 meter) 3500 pound (1590 KG) shark is a he or a she? In the video, the shark is refered to as "Mary Ann" and "she". Who was brave enough (Stupid enough???) to find out? My $0.02 Mike |

If the shark has two tendril-like claspers next to the rear side-fins, it's a male. If not, it's either a juvenile male (their's are smaller and harder to detect) or a female.
Edit: so, yes, you can tell, even from a distance, if you know what to look at.

Sharks don't usually eat humans. We're too big for proper prey.
The sharks attack usually surfers, because their sense of electrical current detects movement in the water from quite a distance and surfers paddling on their boards look to that sense like a wounded fish. Other reason is he stupidity of tourists and business owners. To attract the first ones, the latter ones throw bloody meat (which the shark can smell from a distance - it can discern one drop of blood from about 1000 litres of seawater) and the shark enter feeding frenzy, in which they bite even their own kin. Shark attacks are one of the rarest natural attacks on humans. Only big sharks usually manage to kill, rather than maim, a human sized creature. The problem is, most people know only the sharks from movies like Jaws.
