Well if you live in Perth you have more chance of being injured in a road accident than you do of being involved in a shark attack - the majority of Perth drivers are arrogant, entitled and total f**king morons - some of the worst drivers in the entire country (I've seen the drivers in Asia and the Middle East and Perth drivers are worse)

So basically it's just reprisal killings, and let's face it, that doesn't really work with sharks. Great whites are a protected species and they're a top predator so killing them is ignorant and harmful to the environment. As we all know, politicians never let logic and good science get in the way of getting a few extra votes from the pathologically ignorant.

Simple solution, feed the sharks politicians and eventually they will learn people taste bad.
