Default Something I have been considering doing with T2k1.0

I mean, physically, with the rules: I've been thinking of putting together a "fan edit" of the 1.0 rules. Not changing the actual written rules at all, but just rearranging the rules in the books. I still think T2k is a great game, much in the same way that Original D&D is a great game. The difficulty comes in going back and forth between the two booklets in the boxed set; personal combat and vehicle combat are naturally separate things but they're in entirely different books, and the aim of this project is to merge things together so there's a better flow, and that accessing the information is easier.

In my humble opinion, everything can and should be in a single volume that goes: background information/timeline, character creation, encounters, personal combat, vehicle combat, equipment indices.

Naturally I'd fold the errata directly in to the rules (yes, I still have my errata sheet!)

It is, in my opinion, a nice tight rule system and organization is what really hampers it.

Not a bad idea, but by now, I think I'm so used to where the rules sections are, that I wouldn't move them.

Since it's a fan edit, consider adding in fan/house rules as options-- say by putting them in shaded boxes near whatever it is they are modifying.
