Status Update (Attachments / Server)

Ok,

I was able to put aside a block of about 5 hours today to look into the attachment issue. It seems to be an issue with the image identification program and the php software.

I put in a piece of bandaid code for pdfs and it seems to work. I have also tested pngs and those also seem to be working. The bandaid code is a reasonable long term fix but I am not 100% sure it is solid.

If you had issues with attachments over the past few weeks please try to attach them again and let me know if it works here. If it does not work, please let me know and email the file to rpgstuff(at)juhlin.com.

As far as the newer server we could go live today, but I want to make sure the attachment issue is resolved first. So I will be looking for input from everybody over the next 2 weeks on that issue, while I continue to make performance and security tweaks to the newer box.
