Default OT - Sex in an Abrams Tank (Split from The Longer Version Part 11)

Split this thread off. As much as we enjoyed the one liners it does break the flow of Web's narrative.

This is definitely in the top ten list of oddest facts I have picked up on this board.

Likewise off colour comment about sub calibre penetrator.

I guess the loader was hollering this for reasons other than the blast door being in the ready position:

"UP!"

Rapidly echoed by the gunner yelling 'On the way!'

Like they used to make us say in Basic:

This is my weapon (point at rifle)
This is my gun (point at crotch)
This is for fighting
This is for fun.

I was so going to say something like this yesterday but I was concerned others might think it was in bad taste. LOL!

Going even further off topic. Does anyone remember a film where a baby was born inside a tank. I remember the soldier assisting the mother put condoms on his fingers in order to provide some form of sterile barrier when he was touching the baby. Seemed like a good example of field improvisation.

I think that Chuck Norris was born in a tank... the only way to prevent his powers (even as a baby) from destroying the earth.

That was "Big Red One" I think with Lee Marvin. Started with him in WWI in one of the last engagements (he killed a German just after the armistice I near a large cross) through to just after the German surrender in 1945 (where once again he almost killed a German but saved his life).
The baby was born in a destroyed tank near the same cross.

Thanks, that is it. I remember the cross. There was either a sniper or an observation post hidden in it.

That's right. I think in 1918 it was used by the German and in 1944-45 by the Americans (while the baby was being delivered).

I've just come back from doing our weekly shopping and this looks kind of like Tesco's car park, apart from the snow

Two comments...

First sex in the tank.... I was just wondering if he was just shooting Blanks...

Second -- it MUST have been a female driver doing the parking!!
