Initial Issue Kits
This represents way too much free time on my hands over the last twenty some odd years!
Anywho! I've always had issues with the initial equipment loads in TM 1-1, I feel that throwing a team to the woves in a post-TEOTWAWKI scenario with what boils down to a couple of weeks of food, a basic load of ammunition and a change of underwear is, at best, a waste of resources. Soooo here are my takes on a few of the Project's "packs". Please feel free to flame away, I am wearing my fire-proof thong! This first post deals with the Basic Pack. This is a tad on the heavy side at 58kg! But this will give a team member sufficient equipment for about 30 days of use.
