GM trick: NPC picture cards
I'm starting to like the idea of making cards for the players to see when they talk to NPCs, as well as for me to keep track of them. I've started downloading pictures from the internet (usually TV/movie characters) and printing them on index cards, with names and some text. The idea is that it can help the players remember who's who in the campaign. (otherwise: "Wait, there's a king here?" "Weren't we paid by General something-or-other?" "That's a woman?!")
It occurred to me this morning, that I should have been doing that a long time ago, with the little sketches included for so many T2k NPCs in the modules. Anybody do this before? I'm getting ready to start making copies of faces from the modules, to what end I am not sure.
