Howling Wilderness... What cities were hit on the Thanksgiving Massacre

In Howling Wilderness it gives a list of cities hit by a nuclear strike but not on which dates. I am working on something and was wondering if anyone figured out WHEN each city was first hit by a nuclear strike.

I am working on a concept of an ordinary citizen (Insurance Saleman Jake from Allstate) driving to a Black Friday sale when suddenly a bright flash occurs and he spots a mushroom cloud in the distance.
