Default Firefighters

Reading some things in the US Army issue weapon threads, I had the envy to design the followings. I hope you'll like them. I forgot the air firefighters attached to the french air force. Strangely Fire Fighters have been largely forgotten by T2K but may be some of you have some elements on your own.

For my parts I designed the two that are attached to the military. I'll try to post something on air, professionals and volunteers later. If you have any critics feel free.

Brigade des Sapeurs Pompiers de Paris (BSPP)
It counts 7412 personnel. Its members are all formed to basic infantry training and outside of the fire equipments; it is equipped with assault rifle. The UES are specially trained units operating at special locations (gas extraction, missile/spatial launch pad, sensitive art centers). In addition, elements are regularly deployed abroad in places such as Lebanon. Their motto is “Sauver ou Périr” (Saving or Dying). It is placed under the authority of a General with a Colonel heading each group and a captain leading the UES.
Its OOB is the following
- 1st Fire Group:
o 7th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 24th and 26th Companies
- 2nd Fire Group
o 1st, 2nd, 8th, 11th, 15th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd Companies
- 3rd Fire Group
o 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 16th, 21st, 27th and 28th Companies
- Support Group
o HQ Company
o Independent Company
o Support and Services Company
o 5 UES (Specialized Elemental Units): Larq-Artix, Biscarosse, Kourou, Louvre and National Library
- Formation and Instruction Group

- Ground Vehicle (Wheeled) : 1
- Medical (Trauma Aid) : 1
- Small Arms (Rifle) : 2

* Due to the intensity of that profession, each term as an enlisted has a length of three years instead of the regular 4 years game term.

Caporal (Corporal) : One term, Medical(Trauma Aid) 5, Leadership 1
Caporal-Chef (Technical Corporal) : One term as Caporal
Sergent (Sergeant) : One term as Caporal/Caporal-chef, Leadership 2
Sergent-chef (Staff Sergeant) : One term as Sergent
Adjudant (Technical Sergeant) : One term as Sergent/Sergent-chef, Leadership 3
Adjudant-chef (Master Sergeant) : One term as Adjudant
Major (2nd Lieutnant) : Only after two terms as Adjudant-chef and after reaching the age of 50.

BSPP Officer
Entry: Military Academy (2 skill points in combat engineer, 1 in leadership and navigation as secondary skill), Graduate School (2 skill points in leadership and navigation as secondary skill), Medical School (leadership as secondary skill), one term in the field as officer in the Army.

Batallion des Marins Pompiers de Marseille (BMPM)
The battalion belongs to the navy and counts 2450 personnel. Its members are all formed to basic naval training and it is equipped with more than 700 vehicles and watercrafts. It is organized in 6 companies and 7 special operational sections. Their mottos are “Honneur-Patrie-Valeur-Discipline” (Honor-Country-Valor-Discipline) and “Courage et Dévouement” (Courage and Devotion). There is also an unofficial motto which is “S’il y a des vies qui vous sont chères, pour nous, elles le sont toutes” (If certain lives are dear to you, to us, they are all). The battalion is placed under the authority of the Naval Prefect.
Its OOB is the following
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Companies
- 6th Company (Support)
- 7th Company (SMUR): mobile emergency
- 8th Company (EMPM): instruction company with 800 recruits
- 7 Special Operational Sections
o SOS GRIMP (hazardous environment): 85 personnel
o SOS SD (search and release): 135 personnel and 5 dogs
o SOS AQUA (sea intervention): 80 personnel
o SOS RT (technological risks): 60 personnel
o SOS HELI (airborne commandoes): 90 personnel and 6 helicopters
o SOS DEPOLL (pollution risks): 160 personnel
o SOS IT (technical support): 100 personnel
