With Indonesia making waves just next door, the only troops sent to Korea are not going to be first line that's for sure.
I see 9 Brigade being tasked with rear area security and perhaps reinforcement and occasional recce. They're unlikely to be in the front line except in extremis. Therefore infantry is probably a decent option, especially when in defence in rugged terrain.
