Military Unit Symbols on maps
How many of you guys are familiar with military unit map symbols? There are a couple different NATO and US standards, among others, and they have most elements in common. Can you read/interpret them, at least the basics? (i.e. this is the 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division)
I'm working on maps of the Kola Campaign and am planning on using them but if the consensus is that they confuse more than assist understanding I'll go back to square one...
