What time period do you set your games in?
I love cold war gone hot novels set in the 80's. Books like Chieftains, Team Yankee, Red Storm Rising and General Hacket's World War 3.
As a result I use a variant of the original 1st edition timeline but with everything going off in the 80's. The setting has evolved over the years and with the release of the Team Yankee tabletop game my group has linked in bigger battles, scenarios and one offs with that in campaigns. I'm curious what time period other folks set thier games in?
