It's not only parade. That doesn't apply to Canada but it seems that, in the past, people were often eager to do their uprising in spring and summer (governments can sleep in winter):

US: celebration on the 4th July
France 14th July
Belgium: 21st July

You'll find a major exception with Russia (february and a coup in october) but they are Russians.
