Help with Iceland
I need a little help from the crew. I'm feeling bogged down again. Being the caretaker for my new little rifleman-in-training during the day and using the hours after my wife gets home for household tasks is making getting writing done difficult. I'm trying to keep myself enthusiastic and fresh, rather than trying to keep my nose to the grindstone and end up not writing in the time I have available.
Does anyone have any resarched materials on Iceland they would be willing to share? I want to create a short piece detailing the withdrawal of US (and possibly all NATO) forces from Iceland in 1999. I want to have the island in a stalemate between NATO/Icelandic government forces and marauders, perhaps based around or supported by a modest force of Soviet operators. I want to use USCG First District forces to break the stalemate, then affect a withdrawal of the remaining Americans, plus possibly other NATO troops willing to relocate to the US. I could do the research myself, but I hate reinventing the wheel. Thanks in advance. Webstral |

Only canon target from the Nordic Sourcebook Iceland Keflavik 100 kt airbase.[/QUOTE] Do we know when the strike occurred? Also, was it an airburst or a groundburst? Webstral |

Data was from our Finnish member Trooper. I'll ask him next time he is on the board.
