It's just an opinion mind you, which is all it really comes down to. Personally I don't care if they come here or not. |

My two cents worth? Invite them all here. Worse thing that really happens IMHO is that we just disagree on certain points. Thing is, we need constant exchange of ideas to keep this board alive IMO, we can't afford to be too picky. But again, that's just my loose change.

Opinions are always welcome, no matter what they are.
But you do have a point Fus. 3rd edition is drastically different, and i think its going to take a while to grasp some of the background...or get around to changing it like we do with the first three versions. Right now Im working through learning the reflex system well enough to modify it for faster play, and using T2k's background. It struck me on the way home that many games definitely have a certain kind of following. D&D seems to be where most people start out, but the Cold Warriors, Vets and Military Buffs seem to gravitate towards Twilight. One of the things that impressed me was it seemed that 2013 had an angle of encouraging people who dont know much about the military to come and play. At first the lesser emphasis on the armed forces kind of made me wince...but the more I thought about it the better the idea seems to me. Its helping to keep the game alive. ![]() |

I have made a number of open and specific invitations to members of the T2013 forum to join us here and those invitations still stand. I guess if the T2013 forum is no longer functioning it will be a bit hard to re-post an invitation there. I enthusiastically welcome any T2013 forum members who choose to join this forum. We have successfully integrated T2013 discussions in this forum for a long time now. I'm all for inclusiveness

And certainly no need that I can see to split off into a seperate section such as has been done with Morrow Project. Doesn't take much to specify in a post that your comment/question relates to 2013 or an alternate timeline instead of 2000.
