Default Novel series with Morrow-like project

There's a novel series (available on kindle and audible) called; "The Last Brigade" that's about a Morrow Project-style program that worked. The program wakes up together with all of it's resources 50 years after the fall and tries to put the USA back together. I'm 2/3rds through book 1 and it's pretty good.
I messaged the author (nice guy) asking if this was inspired by TMP and he said that, while he gets this question a lot, it wasn't.

My gaming group would have loved playing a project that worked. I am going to have to look for it.

Will check that series out, thanks.

I enjoyed these two which are Morrow in all but name, someone may have mentioned them on here a while ago, I can't remember.
Guns along the Wabash: A novel of Majestic 12 (The Prometheus Initiative Book 1)
Worthington's War: A novel of Majestic 12 (The Prometheus Initiative Book 2)
