Default Diesel Locomotive on Wheels

Check out this mashup of a 12-wheeled MAZ-547 and a Kolomna DM62 "Mashka" diesel-electric locomotive.

Although this strange beast was completed in 2002, there's no reason why it couldn't have been created earlier, in the T2k timeline(s). Apparently, one of its intended uses was as a mobile power station.

Only Russia would build a vehicle in 2002 that looks like it is from 1962 aesthetic-wise.

And we'll never know, if the design sketches were actually from 1962 or from 1992.

Default Ladoga: an APC for VIPs

I'd never heard of this thing before. Seems like it fits in the rare & exotic category. Check out the luxe interior!

Default Ladoga Losses

If Russia is using Ladoga "nuclear-proof" VIP APCs* in combat in Ukraine, 2024, the Soviets certainly would have used them in a similar capacity during the Twilight War.

*See previous post for more comprehensive article on the Ladoga and a pic.

Default BTR-D Drone Launcher

Imagine running across one of these (a BTR-D launch vehicle for the Yakolev Pchela-1T) in a Polish barn:
