OT - 300m vs 500m combat training
Fascinating series of articles about how the US Army has trained its men to fight with the idea the maximum range of engagement is 300 metres - which is perfect for street fighting in Iraq, but in Afghanistan most combat is occuring at 500 metres or more distance.
