Default Latest Body Armor

This article caught my blood-shot eye!

A company called BCB International, based in Cardiff, UK has come up with the latest in body armor.

Blast Boxers

These are black-and-yellow Kevlar-lined boxers that retail for $86.00 and were recently "unveiled" at the Association of the US Army's recent convention in Washington DC. The boxers include a knitted Kevlar panel that covers the groin from front to back and extends to the inside of the thighs to protect against injuries to the femorla arteries. The side panels are made of a flame-retardent material. The boxers are also hand-washable, lightweight and breathable.

So why the development?

It seems that British troops in Afghanistan have been suffering catastrophic injuries due to their issue body armor lacking the groin guards fitted to American body armor.

For soldiers, protecting the family jewels is our number one priority!!!
