Holy crap. A users' manual for .22 rimfire ammo adapters for M16s.

Scary!

I mean at what juncture did someone say "You know what? The shit might hit the fan so hard our guys find themselves scrounging ammo. What's the most common round out there? .22? Great, lets get cracking on an adapter."

It's meant for training purposes - eliminates the need for firing off expensive 5.56 by raw recruits and cadets.

over four THOUSAND technical manuals, service bulliltins, modification work orders, nice if you have the equipment and need to repair it I guess. Too bad they didn't get to the 55 series TMs. sigh.

Its part of an ongoing project to publish non-classified manuels. Give it time and keep checking back.
