Spec Ops
When Admiral McRaven hit the news immediately after the Bin Laden raid, there was mention of his book, Spec Ops. It is a study of historical special operations missions, from Eben Emael to Entebbe. I bought it as a Kindle download; I suspect many members here would find it interesting.
Forgive me for starting a new thread, but as it is non-fiction rather than a novel... |

There are two threads in the thread list that probably could be stickies, OT - Book (Non Fiction) Review/Recommendations and OT - Book (Fiction) Review/Recommendations. In any case the thread list (the link to which is a sticky near the top of the main thread page) is a good place to look if you're not sure whether a given topic already has a thread of its own.
My apologies, I'm still not an expert in using all of the mod tools at my disposal and I haven't had the guts to try to merge any threads because I'm worried that I'll stuff it up and accidentally delete a bunch of posts.
