Challenge Revamp Needs Assistance
I had a message from Steffon Worthington of Planetary Assault Group, the main man behind the Challenge revamp. Because he is in his own words "snowed under" with a lot of other work, as well as his recent health issues, he could do with some help working on the project. What he needs is people who know the old GDW games, so I thought it made sense to ask around the community
If any of you would like to help, get in touch with Steff via this email address: planetaryassaultgroupATgmailDOTcom Cheers! |

I believe it's to get the Challenge magazine back up and running, or at least get a single special commemorative edition published.

The following is an excerpt from their original announcement in January:
The legendary CHALLENGE MAGAZINE is returning for a special one-off issue (which will make it C78 ), to celebrate the release of the CD-rom back catalog of Challenge magazines and to pay back all those loyal fans who collected, and still collect, THE magazine of science fiction gaming. If successful, it will go back into regular publication. We're looking for submissions for the following games: Traveller 2300AD Space 1889 Dark Conspiracy Twilight:2000 We want to cover all the licensed eras and versions; other games, systems & settings may be covered in possible future issues. This WILL also include sci-fi roleplaying using the BRP & Call of Cthulhu systems. So, a one-off special which might lead to a full return is what they are aiming for. |
